With more than 32 years in the life insurance business, Scott has spent the past 20 as an independent life insurance and Financial broker. As a broker Scott is able to find the product that is best for you- whether it is the Lowest Cost Term Insurance or the more permanent based insurance product called Universal Life. Scott’s exclusive knowledge surrounding the inner workings of Universal Life insurance will guarantee that this product will always be an important asset in your estate plan. His motto, “With You, Moving Forward” is in reference to his approach of helping his clients establish clear goals and meeting with them on a regular basis to ensure those goals are achieved and milestones met.

Scott Mallender works with all the top Canadian Life Insurance companies. His associates include a network of tax, retirement and estate planning lawyers, accountants, underwriters, and actuaries.

At the University of Windsor, Scott graduated with an Honours in Human Kinetics, along with a Bachelor of Education. Throughout Scott's life, sports have always been his passion. Golf, Hockey, Baseball and Basketball. But it was football that was his favourite, where he quarterbacked the Windsor Lancer football team during the last 4 years of the Lancer’s greatest decade, the 1970s. Scott’s lifelong mentor, Coach Gino Fracas, always had a well thought out practice plan, with every move having a defined purpose. Scott models this approach in not only his successful coaching career, but also with his vision and education of estate planning.

In his earlier years in the life insurance industry, Scott worked with Prudential Assurance, Mutual Life, and finally Clarica. With these companies, he was forced to focus only on the few products they offered. Feeling these limited product choices were not beneficial to his clients, Scott set out on his own to develop a brokerage business that is aligned with his approach of helping others.
